Lisa Dunagin, Assistant Principal
Hello Berry Shoals Families!
My name is Lisa Dunagin, and I am honored and excited to serve the staff, students, and families as the school’s assistant principal as we embark on our first year as Berry Shoals Elementary School! I look forward to building relationships with each student and family as we learn and achieve together.
This year will be exciting for us all as we work to grow students academically, artistically, socially, and emotionally. I cannot wait to see great things we will accomplish together this year at BSE!
I received my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and an add on certification for Early Childhood Education at Limestone University and a Master's of Science in Education with a concentration in Math and Science K-8 from Walden University. I also completed my Educational Specialist’s degree at Converse University.
I began working in District Five three years ago and have served as the intermediate math coach, the district math coach, and an assistant principal of Berry Shoals Intermediate School. Prior to working in District Five, I worked in a neighboring Spartanburg County district where I taught 4K, 5K, 3rd, and 4th grades for fourteen years, and was a math interventionist for two years.
I am here to help you in any way that I can! Please feel free to reach out anytime to discuss your child or their academic needs.
