We have some fun upcoming dress up days as we approach Winter Break! 🦌 Our “Twelve Days to the Holidays” will kick off on Tuesday, December 5! 🎄 Remember, as with all dress up days - these days are completely optional for participation! School dress code must be observed, including pajama day. PJ’s need to be school appropriate and real shoes must be worn (no bedroom slippers). ☃️ #ACAgators #WeAreD5 #AbnerCreekHolidayEra

The Student Council had a busy day on Monday! 🚌They loaded up canned goods 🥫and socks 🧦 to go to the Middle Tyger Community Center and then loaded up more of the same to share with the Breaking Bread Soup 🥣 Kitchen. While at the soup kitchen, the students helped unload supplies, enjoyed a delicious lunch, took a tour of the facility, and learned about how the soup kitchen helps the community. They learned that some of the donated food will be used to prepare meals and the rest of it and the socks will be made into blessing bags for those in need. The students also had the opportunity to serve/refill drinks 🥤, deliver plates 🍽️ of food, talk 🗣️ to visitors, and deliver to-go plates. It was a wonderful opportunity for the students to serve others and witness the impact of their school’s generosity. #WeAreD5 #acagators #community #StuCo

We were so excited to have our first of two S.P.A.R.K Days this school year! Students dressed in something that made them feel their best and put our Essential 8 Communication and Leadership Skills in action. Every class invited community professionals and leaders ranging in location from local in the 864, California, and everywhere in between! Guests spoke about their jobs and how important communication and leadership are in their day to day professions. We appreciate all who took time out of their day to speak with our Gators!
