Our Facility

•  Opened in 1996 as Beech Springs Intermediate school and served Grades 5-6 until May of 2024.

•  In August of 2024, it transitioned to Beech Springs Middle School and now services Grades 6-8.

• Originally, the building had 36 classrooms in a 103,000 square foot building. Now it has 42 classrooms, an additional gymnasium with classrooms, 6 new science labs, an ESports Arena, and a football field.

•  Features specialized areas for general music, band, orchestra, art, drama, physical education, science, and special education.

•  Utilizes state-of-the-art technology in the cafetorium, multipurpose physical education room, media center and the eSports Arena room.

 Driving Directions 

From Greenville:

Drive north on I-85.  Take Exit 63 (Duncan Exit).  Turn left at the end of the exit ramp onto Highway 290.  Continue on Highway 290 and turn left onto Danzler Rd. Beech Springs Middle is the third school on the right.

From Charlotte:

Drive south on I-85.  Take Exit 63 (Duncan Exit).  Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Highway 290. Continue on Highway 290 and turn left onto Danzler Rd.  Beech Springs Middle is the third school on the right.

From Columbia:

Drive east on I-26. Take Exit 18A and continue on I-85 south.  Take Exit 63 (Duncan Exit).  Turn right at the end of the exit ramp onto Highway 290. Continue on Highway 290 and turn left onto Danzler Road. Beech Springs Middle is the third school on the right.  

BSM Gym: Please enter through the school's main entrance, park in the front parking lot and walk up the sidewalk on the left side of the school.

BSM Football field: Please enter through the BSM Bus loop entrance behind Byrnes Freshman Academy, park in the side lot and walk down the hill to the field. 

 Parking for the gym and football field is in the front of the school.  Access to both are on the left end of the school.
