The School Improvement Council hosted the LES Sneaker Ball for families on February 15, 2024. Students dressed to impress, but wore their sneakers so they could dance the night away. To enter, attendees donated canned food items to help supply the shelves of local food pantries such as Middle Tyger Community Center, Greer Relief, and Breaking Bread Ministries. "We are so thankful for the great turn out because it meant that we were able to help people in our very own community," said Assistant Principal Gina Creel.
