Dr. Glenda Bigby, principal of River Ridge Elementary, was recognized for her 50 years in education at the June 24th District Five Schools Board of Trustees meeting. South Carolina State Representative Rob Harris presented Dr. Bigby with a South Carolina State House Resolution honoring her 50 years of educational service all of which have been in D5. Dr. Bigby has worked at River Ridge for over 20 years as a Curriculum Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal. Her dedication and hard work are greatly appreciated by the families and staff of RRES and D5.
