Congratulations to Yana Tsvyd, a 5th grader at River Ridge, for winning the 2024 District Five Holiday Card artwork contest!
Yana's playful gnomes, full of bright colors and holiday cheer, were chosen from dozens of other top designs created by students across the district. As the winning artist, Yana was honored before the district's Board of Trustees, along with art teacher, Lorie Goode. The 5th grader was also presented with a certificate and 50 copies of her holiday card to send out to her own family and friends. Her artwork will also be framed and presented to the school at a later date.
