Mrs. West and Mrs. Lyda’s 4th grade science classes have enjoyed learning about light 💡 energy. They experimented with mixing light, separating light, and using diffraction glasses. 👓
Cutcher/Berrett’s K5 class had a special visitor from Byrnes! Alexis Dooner, a 10th grader, came in and did a fun Christmas art 🌲 project with our class for Leadership Byrnes! The kids loved Alexis and had a great time! Their ornaments came out great too! Thank you, Alexis!

Ms. Harris’ 2nd grade class has been learning about the Pilgrims and reading Turkey 🦃 books, today they finished off with a tasty turkey!
The Student Council took its fall field trip to Greer Community Ministries. They delivered donated non-perishable foods the school collected, took a tour of the facility, and learned about the many ways in which GCM serves the community. The members were able to fellowship with a group of seniors and spent time talking to them and sharing all of the service learning projects they’ve participated in so far this school year. The student body president led everyone in the Pledge of Allegiance and the entire Student Council recited its membership oath. 💚💙

The letters to the North Carolina Farm Bureau’s Ag in the Classroom writing ✍️ project have been mailed!! We are so proud of our Gator 🐊 writers and the kind and thoughtful words 💙 they wrote to our neighbors in North Carolina. We also want to thank our friends at Abner Creek Middle School for sending their letters over to us! ❤️

Mrs. Maxwell's 3rd grade class worked with Legos today in their Lego BricQ Motion Essential sets. Students were working together to build and test a creation that would shoot a ball 🏀 into a basket. 🧺 The students LOVE ❤️ STEM!
