Today was the first GatorWolf Guardians meeting at ACA. Abner Creek Middle athletic student leadership students met with some of the ACA students to build community and relationships between our two schools. 🐺 🐊





We are so excited about the creation of Gator Jam - it's a fun filled performance bucket percussion group! 🥁
Auditions are open to 4th and 5th graders and will take place on December 17th until 4pm. Limited spots are available, so permission forms are due tomorrow, December 12! 🗓️

Crow/Weaver's K5 class are learning all about community heroes. They invited one of our Gator 🐊 community heroes to their class to read 📖 to them, Officer Ruiz. He’s not only our community hero but he’s Caleb’s hero as well! 👮🏽♂️







Big shout out to Church At the Mill for spreading love and Christmas cheer this morning by bringing biscuits and drinks for staff! We appreciate you for starting our day off right.


Our ACA Gators did a fantastic job tonight in their Christmas Concert 🎵 with the Voices of D5 Staff Choir! 🎄

When a student council representative shows up to help out and gets to see her little sister! These 2 hugged and squealed like they hadn’t seen each other in days!! 💚🥺💙


Mrs. Williams’ 2nd grade class worked together on an escape room to solve who stole the turkey’s feast. 🦃






Mrs. Blackwell’s 1st grade class tried to build turkey fences to keep the turkey 🦃 from running away!










Mrs. West and Mrs. Lyda’s 4th grade science classes have enjoyed learning about light 💡 energy. They experimented with mixing light, separating light, and using diffraction glasses. 👓






Cutcher/Berrett’s K5 class had a special visitor from Byrnes! Alexis Dooner, a 10th grader, came in and did a fun Christmas art 🌲 project with our class for Leadership Byrnes! The kids loved Alexis and had a great time! Their ornaments came out great too! Thank you, Alexis!









We will be closed for Thanksgiving Break November 27, 28, & 29. We will see everyone back on December 2! Have a safe and wonderful holiday with your friends and family! 🦃
