Beech Springs Intermediate will now be BEECH SPRINGS MIDDLE SCHOOL, transitioning from serving 5th-6th grade students to now serving 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. If you are unsure where your student should attend for next year, please call the school office at (864) 949-7600 to confirm what school your child should attend. Some boundaries were changed and your child's next school could be different than in the past.
In July you will receive an email or letter giving directions to complete the Infosnap for reenrollment for the 2024-25 school year. NEW THIS YEAR, every student will be required to turn in or upload an updated proof of current residency, even if you have not moved.
Proof of Residency is defined as ONE of the following: A recent tax document for primary residence, current signed rental/lease agreement or a current utility bill (i.e. electric, gas, water). The proof of residency must contain the name of the student's custodial parent. This document will need to be uploaded when you complete Infosnap or if you do not have the capability to upload, you will need to bring a hard copy to the school. You will need a copy for EACH child and the school they attend in Spartanburg District 5.
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES: If a child is not living with Mom or Dad, or if a child’s family is living with another family, the following documents are necessary.
· If student is living with someone other than Mom or Dad, a notarized Affidavit (available in the school office) must be submitted along with that person’s ID and proof of residence as defined above. The Affidavit can be notarized at the school office if all parties are present.
· If a student’s family is sharing a residence with another person/family, a Shared Residence Affidavit must be provided along with that person’s ID and proof of residence as defined above. A Shared Residence form can be obtained at the school office or a handwritten note is acceptable. Both can be notarized at the school if all parties are present.
