Welcome to Beech Springs MIDDLE School! We serve 6th, 7th and 8th grade students within our zoned area of District 5. If you are new to District 5 schools for the 2024-25 school year, please call our school at (864) 949-7600 and allow us to confirm that your address falls within our zoned area for BSIS.
Beginning June 3, registration can be completed at our school office, Monday-Thursday, between the hours of 9:00 and 2:00 pm.
DOCUMENTS NEEDED - The following documents are required for enrollment and can be emailed, uploaded with the online registration, or hard copies submitted in the office.
· Proof of Residency is defined as ONE of the following: A recent tax document for primary residence, current signed rental/lease agreement or a current utility bill (i.e. electric, gas, water). The proof of residency must contain the name of the student's custodial parent.
· Student Birth Certificate
· Immunization Certificate
· Parent/Guardian ID or Driver's License (hard copy submitted in office)
SPECIAL CIRCUMSTANCES: If a child is not living with Mom or Dad, or if a child’s family is living with another family, the following documents are necessary.
· If student is living with someone other than Mom or Dad, a notarized Affidavit (available in the school office) must be submitted along with that person’s ID and proof of residence as defined above. The Affidavit can be notarized at the school office if all parties are present.
· If a student’s family is sharing a residence with another person/family, a Shared Residence Affidavit must be provided along with that person’s ID and proof of residence as defined above. A Shared Residence form can be obtained at the school office or a handwritten note is acceptable. Both can be notarized at the school if all parties are present.
ONLINE REGISTRATION - Complete the online registration at: https://secure.infosnap.com/family/gosnap.aspx?action=38608&culture=en.
· You will Create an Account using an email and setting up a password. Please remember this information to use every year to reenroll. You can also use a phone number.
· Bus Transportation – you will be prompted to complete a Transportation form if you want bus transportation.
· Free or Reduced Lunch application – be sure you complete this online.
· Technology Fee – you can pay this with the registration or later at registration.
· If you are enrolling siblings in other schools, you can complete their online registration at the same time. However, you should contact each school about their procedure for enrollment.
ADDITIONAL FORMS - There are 2-3 additional forms for completion of registration. These forms can be emailed or completed in the school office.
