Job Shadowing Day is a great opportunity for 8th Grade students to observe a professional and learn about a career that interests them. With parent/guardian permission, students will arrange their own job shadowing experience at a location of their choosing. If you would like assistance in locating a job shadow site, please contact Ms. Proper, Career Development Facilitator, at tara.proper@spart5.net. You must make contact with a business prior to February 28th, requesting to job shadow for the day. Arrangements must be made in advance - do not show up at a business unannounced on Job Shadowing Day. Students are allowed to shadow parents/guardians/family members. For students to be eligible for an excused absence for February 28, 2025, all paperwork (Permission Slip & Job Shadow Observation Report) must be completed by the due dates . Students will also need to submit a short video clip to be shared with the student body. Please contact Ms. Proper with any questions.
