Join us for a great evening of super talented students!
Spartanburg District Five schools will observe an eLearning day on Monday, April 8, due to the solar eclipse occurring that day. The decision was made after careful thought and consideration by District Five leaders, along with leadership of all Spartanburg County school districts.
The eclipse, which should last several hours, is expected to occur during afternoon dismissal times, which could potentially pose a safety risk to both students and staff. Furthermore, district leadership does not believe it is safe for school buses or student drivers to be on the roads during the height of the event.
Athletic and afterschool activities will be allowed on Monday, April 8, but only after 5:00 PM, once the eclipse has passed.
Just a reminder! No school for students tomorrow, March 15, 2024.

Star knows getting at least 10 hours of sleep every night helps you feel good and keeps your heart and brain healthy over time. Being active during the day and having a nice wind down routine at night (like reading or journaling) can help you get a good night’s rest! http://www2.heart.org/goto/RiverRidge
