On Thursday, March 27, our third graders had the opportunity to visit Hatcher Gardens!
The guides at Hatcher Garden helped students make connections between what they see in the garden with what they learn in the classroom. On the tour, our student saw insects, fish, and other animals and made connections about their life cycles. They also identified flowers, seeds, and seedlings and discussed pollination, seed development, and seed dispersal. What an awesome day of hands on learning!
