On Friday, October 11th our students had a morning celebration that included participating in National Walk & Roll To School, celebrating being chosen as one of America's Healthiest Schools, and kicking off our yearly anti-bullying program. Students were asked to wear orange in support of our anti-bullying efforts. We began the morning with a walking parade around the school grounds that led us into an assembly where the students were reminded of the importance of being a good citizen, being kind, and not bullying others. The highlight of the morning was our mascot, Buzzy Buzzington III, making his debut appearance. It was a great event and fun was had by all.
