Berry Shoals Elementary

Layla Swain was named the 2025 Heart Hero at Berry Shoals Elementary School for her efforts in raising the largest donation to the American Heart Association for the Kids Heart Challenge in 2025. Each year all Berry Shoals students participate in the Kids Heart Challenge Event held in their PE classes with the opportunity to choose to raise money for the American Heart Association in the process. Layla not only participated with her peers in the event, but raised almost $275 for the event. All money goes directly to the American Heart Association to further their efforts in combating heart disease and stroke. Great job Layla!
