
Now this is what collaboration looks like! Mrs. Sosa’s 5th grade students are back hard at work today by rehearsing their scripts for their short films. After writing and editing their scripts, students are now in the process of memorizing lines and incorporating media into their short films! These students are working so hard and we can’t wait to share their final product with parents.

Last week, 6th grade students on Strawberry Hall used Gatorade bottles and balloons to make a model lung. The bottom balloon represents the diaphragm while the inside balloon represents a human lung. By pulling down on the knot, air inflated the inside balloon just like a lung! The models worked!

⭐️ Mrs. Nobles class got to enjoy The Nutcracker sensory performance today at Converse College. It’s was presented by Spartanburg Ballet. What a great way to finish the week! 🎄🩰











Raspberry Hall also was able to visit Atlanta yesterday!!








6th Grade Loganberry Hall went on a field trip to the Atlanta Aquarium and the Coca-cola museum!!!











5th grade Art classes are using the elements of art to build Lego sculptures and to design pictures of some of their favorite things!

Mrs. Koon’s 5th grade classes recently did a properties of matter investigation lab in Science!









Here's a different approach to "playing with your food". Mrs. JT's classes got to paint with spices to learn about mixtures and solutions!




Congratulations to Mrs. Sosa and our Berry Shoals Musical team. Finding Nemo, Jr. was an outstanding musical. The kids were spot on, high energy, and thoroughly engrossed in their roles. Thank you, again, to all who came to support our students and Mrs. Sosa!

Several 5th grade classes visited the Roper Mountain Science Center recently and learned all about conservation! ♻️🐝🐝











Cranberry Hall has been collecting socks for the month of October as part of our Socktober service learning project to benefit Middle Tyger Community Center. Adam Mokhtar, a student in Mrs. Jones' homeroom, brought in 420 pairs of socks to help this wonderful cause! There will be many warm feet this winter thanks to the generosity of this young man and his family!
