Ms. Grummel hosted another FUN Pokemon trading card event this afternoon. Students were able to barter with each other to get new cards. What an exciting event! ⚡️
Ms. Mitchell's classes heading to the lab this week. 🥼🥽 They discussed how the heating of the Earth's surface changes depending on the location and type. They observed temperature changes of sand and water to see which changes more. 🌎
Our home economics club met this past month and worked on their gardening skills. Our local friends the Backyard Chicken Farm and apiary graciously came and spoke with our students about bee keeping and gardening!
Mrs. West treated her students who met their IReady reading goal to ice cream sundaes and a movie last week! What a fun incentive! 🍨
What a sweet way to end our students week.🤩 Our beech book club students who finished the book for the third nine weeks, and were able to answer Mrs. Cantrell's questions, were treated to an ice cream social. 🍨
We don't know how it gets better than this.🤩 Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Tucker's reading small groups are excited about Spring. 🌸 Students read informational articles and then went on an egg hunt to find and answer questions about the passage. ❓📖 Lastly, they were able to decorate their own Easter egg. 🐣

Todays spirit day came with a 90s theme, and a humbling experience for our teachers, as our students are referring to the 90s as the "1900s" 🫠 The nostalgia is kicking in, from boy band shirts, butterfly clips, overalls, and denim on denim. We love to see it! ♥️

They had a needle in a haystack 🪡, hit the books📚 , social butterfly🦋 , head in the clouds☁️, wild goose chase🪿, broke my heart💔, time flies⏰, and in a pickle 🥒 to name a few.
