March is the month that kicks off spring here in South Carolina. The weather begins to change and Florence Chapel starts the fourth quarter. As always, our students and teachers are busy as ever. We practiced our Tornado Procedures as March and April weather can be a little unpredictable.
As a school, we celebrated our new Teacher of the Year and Support Employee of the Year. Congratulations to Mrs. Christen Edge and Mr. Terry for the love and support you give FCMS.
On the 14th, we opened our school for our second Academic Showcase Night. For two hours, our students showed off what they learned and accomplished this year. The band and orchestra demonstrated their skills and several students shared their newfound love of poetry.
Our orchestra students earned Excellent Ratings at their CPA.
As a district, we celebrated our 39 Junion Scholars. Of those 39, 27 came from Florence Chapel Middle School!
Our band students picked up Superior with Distinction ratings at their CPA.
