Mrs. Sasco’s students loved Mrs. Cox and Ms. Gresham coming by with the book cart this morning. The excitement and mystery of opening up the blind date books makes it feel like Christmas!

Congratulations to the FCMS girls basketball team! They compiled an undefeated record on their way to being the Peachtree Conference champions. Incredible achievement! #WeAreD5 #fcmscougars

The FCMS students got to be a part of an incredible presentation from the JROTC today. The BHS cadets did a fantastic job sharing and promoting their program. It offers so many opportunities to our students in the next 4 years.

Mrs. Richardson’s class is preparing to read “Lamb to the Slaughter.” Students were given different scenarios and worked together to find information and make inferences about each case.

Mrs. Ohler and 7 of our choir students had the privilege to attend the SCACDA Middle School Honor Choir event this weekend! Students auditioned in September and have worked hard to independently prepare music for the event.
We had two students in the Soprano/Alto choir- Tori Segarra and Ella Yarborough; and five students in the SATB choir- Jeremiah Anderson, Carson Cagle, Hadley Cash, Jayden Gray, and Ashlyn Greene.

The following students have earned callbacks to the All-State Band audition after their regional audition this past weekend! They will compete for a seat in the SC Junior All-State Band this Saturday at Lexington High School!

They completed the experiment and recorded their results; Monday students will find the average bpm and create a graph to summarize their findings.
