We had our first matches in D5 history in eSports. Jose Contreras competed in Super Smash Brother in a 1v1 and Landon Verdier and Jonathan Sevilla had a match in Rocket League and won their match 3-0! 🎮




Mrs. Landon and Mrs. Collins' classes teamed up for FLEX today to tackle bullying together with a fun bingo game. The discussed effects of bullying and how to handle tough situations. Way to go! 💯










Mrs. Landon and Mrs. Mccrary's students created amazing scale models of our solar system. 🪐 They converted the distances of each celestial object into centimeters, giving them a real sense of how far apart they are! Plus, they researched FUN facts about each planet and found fascinating patterns in their findings.🕵️ Way to go Panthers!🐆

Dr. Kirkland's DM students took their understanding of dimensions to a whole new level! They went beyond the flat surface of a piece of paper and dove headfirst into the world of 3D design using tinkercad. They then 3D printed the name tags they created.











Our 8th graders participated in a fantastic opportunity today with the Be Pro Be Proud truck. Be Pro Be Proud SC is a workforce initiative that introduces students to high-paying, in-demand fields, many of which are available to them upon graduation from high school with little-to-no educational debt incurred.











Ms. Cummings 7th grade scientist are simulating orangutans from Indonesia as they complete for food, water. or other resources in a limited space.











Teachers have many talents!! Today at recess Mrs. Chiles channeled her old soccer days to help some girls practice for tryouts! ⚽️ we love seeing our teachers pouring into students!



7th graders have been learning about the European Union in their social studies classes. Today, students took part in a digital simulation where they had to negotiate with countries in Europe & try to get their bill passed!






Mrs. Chapman's 8th graders played a fun game of "guess that transformation" in math class. They got creative in their thinking to use their math knowledge. What a fun way to learn. 🧠










Mrs. Landon's 8th grade science classes have been studying all about different classifications of stars. ✨ Today they used their math skills to create H R Diagrams and plot stars based on their luminosity and temperature. Way to go Panthers.🤩







Students raced to put the timeline of events leading up to the battles of Lexington and Concord in chronological order yesterday in Ms. Mitchell's SC history class.








Our teachers at Beech have been meeting weekly with their PLC groups to analyze data and come up with strategies to meet the needs of our students. We can't wait to see the growth! 📈




Mrs. Boggs Algebra 1 class took learning to the gym today by shooting at different distances and recording their data in scatter plots to analyze for trends. Way to make learning fun! 🏀











What a fantastic day at our school with District Five Schools of Spartanburg County board member Kevin Goode! 🎉 He was treated to a scrumptious breakfast from Biscuitville and participated in a round table discussion with our students and staff. They asked him everything from the requirements to become a board member to how long he and his wonderful wife have been dating! ❤️ Afterward, our students took him on an exciting tour of our incredible school, including our one of a kind Esports Lab! What a great way to connect with our community!






Hands on learning in action! 🥼Mrs. McCrary's students took to the lab last week to model the earth's rotation on its axis and observed it at different locations in its orbit around the sun. ☀️ They evaluated how this affects our season on earth. 🌍 Great job Panthers! 💯







Ronnie Rice challenged our students in FCA this past Thursday to choose friends wisely and the importance of making good decisions. We are always grateful for a community that pours into our students.




Mrs. Boggs math students were collaborating in stations working with constant of proportionality and proportional relationships today, great job Panthers!





Mrs Collins’ classes are having a tea party while creating story cubes about the Boston Tea Party!






Mrs Lee’s classes walked into a “crime scene” today and became math detectives. They played a similar game of Clue and solved numerical expressions to determine Whodunnit, their last known whereabouts, and the method.
