Mr. Sandlin invited the RISE Class to visit and join his 7th grade class to build Lego buildings that could handle extreme weather. Everyone enjoyed working and creating together!








Mrs. Medina’s Spanish class played “Pesca,” which is a version of “Go Fish.” "Her students tested their knowledge in vocabulary for greetings, farewells, and introductions, which was a really fun way to learn Spanish terms!

Mrs. Ready’s science students are learning about variables. They had to drop different types of objects to see which one bounced the highest. Everyone loves hands-on learning!

This week our incredible guidance staff took time to introduce themselves to all of our students. We are blessed to have such a talented, compassionate crew to care for our people!




Today Mr. Sandlin’s students read informational texts in stations to learn about maps and how they are used in our daily lives. 🌎🌍🌏

After reviewing lab safety, students in Mrs. Uppole's class were given different scenarios to identify what protective gear was needed to safely perform a lab. Student teams then competed to see which group was the fastest at dressing up one member of their team as a scientist!




Last week, Mrs. Johnson had her students complete a “team building and measurements activity.” Lots of collaboration and fun!











This week, Ms. Dinger’s students were tasked with figuring out how to cut an index card so that they could fit inside it!






Mrs. Ready’s science classes did a “Make A Paper Cup” activity designed to teach skills in following directions! #fcmscougars #WeAreD5

Mrs. Snow’s students played a game of “see, run, do” to practice their observation skills. Lots of energy and action!
