Mrs. Richardson's students are studying elemets of argumentative writing, and they worked together to solve a crime. Students collaborated to make a claim, find evidence to support it, and develop reasoning as to how the evidence supports the claim. There may be a few future detectives and lawyers in this group!

Mrs. Wiant’s class worked together in groups to summarize topics and create posters, and then they did a Gallery Walk to add to their notes and celebrate others’ work! #WeAreD5 #fcmscougars

Our athletes of the week for last week were Parker Bullins, Jacob Haney, Jaiya Devoe, and Casey Rogalin. Parker had a great game for the 8th grade football team as right tackle and had an interception return for a touchdown. Jacob Haney provided a solid performance in the 7th grade game controlling the line of scrimmage as a tackle and defensive end. In a tough loss to Rainbow Lake, Jaiya Devoe played very well for our volleyball team with solid passes. And Casey displays hard work and determination at every game. She has an amazing personality that makes her a wonderful cheerleader!
