Several of our teachers wrote and won Spartanburg Junior League Education grants. 📜 Mrs. Smith, Mrs Bartel, and Mrs. Collins (not pictured) won grants to enhance the learning of their students. 🚀 Way to go Rockets!!
Today, we delivered the donations collected for the Prisma Health Children’s Hospital! They were so grateful and appreciative because these donations make a big difference in the lives of the children in their care! 🤗 A huge thank you to all the students, families, and staff who came together to make this possible. This is proof that we can all make a difference, no matter how big or small! 🚀❤️

🚀 Today in first grade, it was fairytale and fable day! At the conclusion of our fairy tale and fable unit, we had a fairy tale character dress up day and feast. 📚 During the unit, we compared different versions of fairy tales, wrote opinions about our favorite tales, and even wrote our own fairy tale/fable with our 5th grade buddy classes! 🌱
A big thanks to Sheena and Demarcus Bennett with Kona Ice for treating our students and staff to an icee treat today! 🐧 It was a treat enjoyed by all!🚀
Two of our Reidville Rocket artists have art on display at the Chapman Cultural Center in Spartanburg for the month of April! Please help us give them a shoutout for their beautiful art!

🌳 Our first graders took a trip to Conestee Nature Preserve this week to study plant and animal adaptations! 🐍
Forms are coming home this week to provide your student with an icy treat from Pelicans on Field Day next Friday, April 4th!
SPRING PICTURE DAY is this Friday, March 28th.
On this day we will have full body portraits and class pictures.
Please be sure that your child is on time and is able to stay throughout the day to ensure their picture is made. We will not have a makeup day for these photos.
