Due to a winter weather watch issued by the National Weather Service, all Spartanburg District Five schools & offices will be closed on Friday, January 10. Friday, January 10 will be an e-Learning day for all District Five students.
This decision was made in the best interest of safety for all District Five students and staff. With snow, sleet, and ice predicted for much of the Upstate, roads will likely be unsafe for buses, families and student drivers to travel.
Teachers will communicate with students and families regarding any e-Learning assignments. Per District Five policy, students have 5 days to complete any work given on an e-Learning day.
All after school and weekend activities and events are also canceled.
