This past Thursday, we welcomed Pastor Derek Henderson back to FCA. He gave a message about the reason for the season of Christmas and our worship team led us in singing Praise You Anywhere. Join us for our last FCA of 2024 this Thursday at 7:30 am. Don’t forget to order your FCA shirt. T-shirts are $20 and long sleeve are $25. You can pay Mrs. Kay at FCA or in room 146.

Our Abner Creek Student Athlete Leadership Team ("S.A.L.T.") kicked off their mentorship program with Abner Creek Academy on Friday. We had athletes from Football, Volleyball, Cheer, and Basketball who were nominated based on leadership and character traits by coaches to impact the next generation of Wolves. What a great opportunity for everyone involved! Go Wolves! 🐺

Friday, our AVID elective students and orchestra students held a Storybook Christmas event at ACMS! Abner Creek Academy kindergarten students had a great time listening to stories and singing along with the orchestra! A big thank you to all who made this day possible: Laura Spencer, Scotti Henson, Haleigh Gresham, Travis Watson, Zoe Harbison and Elizabeth Koon! Thank you to our school resource officers Officer Moreno and Officer Ruiz as well as Officer Sefcik and her dog Margo from Mauldin PD. Also thank you Florence Chapel for letting us borrow your elf costumes! So many memories were made! 🎄🎁🎅🏼📚

The Beta Club met after school for their holiday service project. Students made festive cards of encouragement for senior citizens in a nearby assisted living home and ornaments for the teachers and staff at ACMS! We love spreading cheer to others in Beta Club!

Congratulations to our orchestra on their first ever concert at ACM! Both groups did a spectacular job, and the 7th and 8th grade had a great time at their holiday party before the concert.

Mr. GP McLeer, the Mayor of Fountain Inn, shared all about his career with us today for Wolves of the Workforce! Students asked thoughtful questions and learned about the importance of caring for their community! This was a special Wolves of the Workforce for our Assistant Principal, Ms. McLeer. Mr. McLeer is her older brother! Thank you so much for taking the time to visit us today!

After finishing the Outsiders, Mrs. Harper's 8th graders created a character sweaters with symbols that represent the character's personality, their actions, and the theme of the book.
