All Spartanburg District Five elementary and intermediate school students will receive free breakfast and lunch this school year, as part of a nationwide program. District Five is participating in the Community Eligibility Program (CEP) for 2023-24, meaning all students in Kindergarten - 6th grade are eligible for the free breakfast and lunch program, at no cost to them. Families of elementary and intermediate school students DO NOT need to fill out meal applications.
Free and reduced meals are still available to middle and high school students in Spartanburg District Five, but parents must apply for the program. Applications can be accessed here.
