As graduation is right around the corner, District Five is proud to announce the recent celebration of academic excellence at Byrnes High School, where the Top Ten Seniors of the graduating class were honored for their outstanding achievements. The group, representing the highest academic achievers of their class, was recognized at a special dinner and ceremony including proud parents and families, school and district leaders, honored teachers, and members of our Board of Trustees.
The evening was not only a testament to the hard work and dedication of these exceptional students, but also a moment of gratitude. Each of the Top Ten Seniors took the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate a teacher who has significantly impacted their educational journey. These influential educators, representing District Five and other local schools, have dedicated their careers to inspiring, guiding, and nurturing our students.
As we recognize the accomplishments of these students, we also say a heartfelt "thank you" to the teachers who have been so instrumental in shaping their paths. Their commitment inside and outside the classroom has inspired excellence and potential in all of their students.
